Twin Spring
for twice the comfort


A Double Decker sprung mattress

The Twin spring beds collection is a range of beds which contain a double layer of springs for twice the comfort and support.
Each mattress, in the 150cm size, contains 650 springs.
(Two layers of 325 springs)

  • Two sets of independently working springs.

  • Special membrane seperates springs to stop them
    rubbing together.

  • Double height mattress for extra comfort levels.

Too Soft-body slouches; spine out of alignment

Too Hard-body not relaxed;tension and pressure points


Fillings & Comfort

Myer's use quality fillings in all of their mattresses. High resilience polyester is used across the range whilst cotton/wool blends are used in more expensive models only. Below is a typical cross section of fillings used in open coil spring mattresses.

Myer's use the following fillings in their mattresses.

Polyester
A synthetic material with good recovery properties.

Cotton
Used near the surface for it's soft feel and ability to breathe and to absorb moisture.

Coir Fibre
An insulating layer made from coconut fibre forms a protective barrier to prevent the spring from being felt or penetrate in to the comfort layers.

All Myer's bases offer the correct support for you and the mattress.

BOARD TOP
Provides a rigid, padded support to give maximum support to the mattress. Often prefered by back sufferers.
